Our vision is simple: to offer a compostable alternative to plastic packaging and make sustainable choices easy for everyone.
We want Ecovia to do more than reduce waste, we want it to inspire a lifestyle where materials are reused, resources are valued, and waste turns into worth. By building packaging solutions rooted in circularity, we aim to help create a world where sustainability is not an option, but a natural part of everyday life.

About Ecovia
Ecovia was established in 2020 with a simple belief: nature already provides the perfect model for responsible packaging. Just as a banana peel protects its fruit and naturally returns to the earth as organic matter, our compostable packaging is inspired by this efficient natural cycle.
Our bags follow the same principle — they safeguard what they hold, and after use, they decompose in soil within 180 days, enriching the earth with nutrients instead of creating waste.

Solving Two Problems with One Idea
We address two major challenges at once: the rise of plastic waste and the growing pile of clothing waste.
Ecovia sits at the intersection of both. We collect clothing waste that would otherwise end up in landfills or be incinerated, extract cellulose from it, and upcycle it into compostable bags. These bags then replace single-use plastic packaging in day-to-day business operations.
Instead of creating new material or adding to existing waste streams, we turn discarded textiles into compostable packaging that breaks down naturally and returns to the earth as nutrients.
