Solving Two Problems with One Idea

We address two major challenges at once: the rise of plastic waste and the growing pile of clothing waste. Ecovia sits at the intersection of both. We collect clothing waste that would otherwise end up in landfills or be incinerated, extract cellulose from it, and upcycle it into compostable bags. These bags then replace single-use plastic packaging in day-to-day business operations. Instead of creating new material or adding to existing waste streams, we turn discarded textiles into compostable packaging that breaks down naturally and returns to the earth as nutrients.
